Post Graduation in Construction Management
Construction industry is on the upswing with the thrust given by Government to boost the economy. There is a huge demand for Construction Management professionals to execute complex mega projects. By keeping with these industry requirements, XIME-Bangalore has designed the Post Graduate Certificate in Management Construction Management (PGCMCM).This is a one year plus full-time programme and covers the following subjects required by the Industry.
Objectives Of The Programme
On completion of the program the candidate will be in a position to successfullymanage the construction duly meeting the below objectives.
PROGRAMME AIM:
- Create awareness about the latest advancements in technical, technological and managerial aspects of the construction field;
- Apply various construction techniques and methods to plan and control construction projects efficiently and effectively;
- Understand the value of sustainable construction practices and apply them for optimal use of available resources; and
- Foresee the risks associated with construction projects and mitigating them through prudent practices.
PEDAGOGY:
The pedogogies used are intented to provide the students with relevant knowledge, tools and techniques in construction management through a well-structured programme. The contents of the programme are based on international best practices, academic research and strong execution experience of professionals associated with XIME. The pedogogies include case studies, group work, live projects and simulation.

Eligibility for Admission
The course is for those who are keen to become knowledgeable about the latest technical and technological advancements in the construction industry and to acquire managerial skills required for professionally managing construction projects.
Graduate in Engineering with Civil, Mechanical or Electrical specialization or equivalent with at-least 50% marks.
Graduate in Architecture or equivalent with at-least 50% marks.
Graduate in Interior Design or equivalent with at-least 50% marks.
